With winter’s chill still with us, my anticipation for spring grows, when Nature begins to shed its frosty cloak, revealing the tender buds and shoots poised to burst into life.
The once-barren trees whisper promises of lush canopies, and the earth, softening underfoot, readies itself for the season’s palette of greens. The air carries the scent of damp soil to my nose, a harbinger of the renewal to come.
Activities, too, begin to shift with the seasons. Trails once blanketed in snow beckon us hikers to witness the transformation. Gardens await their seeds, and the longer days invite leisurely walks and picnics in the still-crisp air.
The sound of returning birds fills the mornings, and the world seems to awaken from its slumber with a contagious energy.
It’s a time for looking forward to the rebirth in nature and within ourselves.
