MIRCOPOETRY
A poem

the spaces where you used to be
are the heaviest.
the silence echoes through the rooms
you once filled with laughter,
the ache of your absence.
i reach out to touch the memories
intangible as mist.
your voice, your smile, your embrace,
all faded embers,
the lingering scent of smoke.
i strain to recall the sound of your laughter,
the warmth of your hand.
but the details grow hazy.
and in the quiet moments, when the world stills,
i am left with voids,
spaces that can never be filled,
honoured, cherished, mourned.
for you have left an imprint on my soul
that time can never erase.
a part that lives on in me.
