It’s Never Too Late

In my youth, I rocked the stage as a semi-pro guitarist in vibrant rock bands.
Upon retiring from this in my fifties, while carrying on with my real job as a Biochemist, I embarked on a classical guitar journey, eventually becoming a part-time tutor in that esteemed style.
Two years ago, many years after full retiral, a new interest sparked within me in the form of fingerstyle Celtic guitar music, rich with alternate tunings. Consumed by this enchanting genre, I find myself immersed, almost exclusively, in its intricate melodies.
This year, I’m excited to share my newfound passion by teaching this unique style to a handful of eager pupils.
Reflecting on this journey, I’m reminded that it’s never too late to learn new skills.
So, whether you’re in your twenties or beyond retirement, the melody of learning never fades with age.
