Oscar, the stray cat, has become a regular visitor in my life.
Every day, I ensure that Oscar is fed and cared for, and this routine has not only provided me with a sense of companionship but has also made a positive impact on Oscar’s well-being. He’s proving to be a rather fussy little eater.
My wife is allergic to cats, so I can’t take him into the house, but he has access to the porch entry, which is warm and dry.
Feeding a stray cat like Oscar needs consistency and care.
He is quite nervous and is definitely not a “petting” cat. The daily feeding routine, however, has helped build a sense of trust and reliability, and when he’s hungry, he allows a little neck tickle.
As a result, Oscar has become a familiar and cherished part of my daily life.
