My Not-So-Healthy Diet
If I’m being honest, my diet isn’t great. I don’t eat nearly enough vegetables and load up on far too many sweets.

If I’m being honest, my diet isn’t great. I don’t eat nearly enough vegetables and load up on far too many sweets.
Fruit gets ignored while chips and cookies call my name. I know salads are better for me than fast-food burgers, but convenience wins out more often than nutrition. While I try to get protein from meatless sources when possible, my weakness for cheese leads to too much greasy pizza and pasta. Sodas and fancy coffee drinks provide daily caffeine and sugar fixes.
Late-night bowls of cereal are my guilty pleasure. I know my eating habits need major improvement. Adding more veggies, swapping snack cakes for fruit, and reducing unhealthy carbs and fats would do me good. My body would thrive on nutritious, balanced meals instead of my current refined and processed fare.
I really should make better choices — my future self would thank me.
