The Neighbourhood Watch committee works hard to keep our community safe.
Our volunteers get to know our neighbours, and look out for suspicious activity. By being the “eyes and ears” of the neighbourhood, we help deter crime and build a sense of togetherness, and although we don’t have much crime locally, it gives everyone peace of mind, knowing we look out for each other.
We remind each other to lock doors, bring in packages, and report anything out of the ordinary, and the police appreciate our extra sets of eyes. We host meetings to discuss safety tips and stay informed.
It’s rewarding to be part of such a caring group improving our neighbourhood, and it’s a social thing too. I encourage everyone to get involved however you can.
Together, we can maintain a safe, thriving community.
