A poem

Deep garnet, red velveteen petals
innocently pretty, and a symbol of grace.
Dancing freely in the flirtatious breeze,
this coy damsel, oblivious of her beauty,
looked at me and blushed,
as I stood, love stung,
adoring her softness.
Yet, beneath her timid allure,
lies an echo of resilience,
a quiet strength, a thorny heart
in testament to endurance
and vulnerability.
In her fragility,
I find solace
and ultimate beauty
reflected in
dew-kissed crimson hues.
