THE HUB PUBLICATION
A poem

The cursor blinks, a silent metronome
marking time’s inexorable passage.
The blank page awaits, impatient for synthesis,
hungry for the generative spark.
My hands float above the keyboard,
divine messengers unsure of their holy missive.
The vessel is willing,
but where is the message?
Rummaging through the cluttered drawers of memory,
grasping at scattered bits,
a stray metaphor here,
a flashing image there.
Promising fragments, but no cohesion.
Seeking inspiration,
venturing into the chaos void.
Buffeted by the roaring winds of entropy,
blinking against discordance,
I persevere.
Suddenly, a whisper cuts through the noise,
intuition’s filament guiding me home.
Moving swiftly now,
I spin straw words into golden phrases,
weaving impressions into insight.
At last, the disjointed shards cohere,
the fleeting muses solidify on the page.
Out of the abyss, order crystallizes,
mysteries synthesized into meaning.
Truth emerges, quivering,
from the creative crucible.
The cursor pauses its metronome march, satisfied.
Wrung out but serene,
I behold the fruits of my odyssey.
For now, the page is full,
until muses stir again
within blankness.
