We were in Sorrento and a few hotels had simmilar trees with messages attached. I had an entertaining type reading these messages in various languages. Although I can only understand Italian and French, there were several Baltic languages and I could make out the references to Ukraine and various other conflicts from around the world. I thought it was a wonderful idea to have a message tree.
